Shropshire has loads of independant little brewries that make wonderfull beer and we made our best effort to sample the whole lot.

All these beers have distinctive flavours... fruity... bitter... malty... sharp... refreshing... even lemon when the brew has never seen a lemon. They are clearly made by dedicated lovers of beer. This is obvious from the certificates each pub shows on it's walls showing that the beer is fully appreciated by beer lovers the country over.

It amazes me that these little brewries can make such lovely beer and sell it for £1.50 - £1.80 a pint when all the pubs in Aberdeen sell characterless slops and charge over £2 for it!!!!
